Julia Strong

JuliaStrong 2010Julia Strong is a former secondary school deputy head and English teacher. She is now an adviser for the National Literacy Trust, having previously worked as the Deputy Director. She is an expert on literacy across the curriculum and has written a number of best-selling books on this subject and on teaching English. Julia has supported Pie Corbett in developing the Talk for Writing materials both for fiction and across the primary curriculum, as well as on the Family Storytelling project. She is currently working with Pie on the Transforming Writing research project.
