Bookings

Am I booked on a conference/event?

Confirmation of your booking will have been sent to the email you provided at the time of booking. Please email professional.development@literacytrust.org.uk if you have not received this.

Can overseas delegates book and attend?

Our conferences are open to anyone who wishes to attend and we are happy to welcome colleagues from overseas.         

Invoices

Can I be sent an additional copy of my invoice?

Your invoice will have been sent to the email you provided at the time of booking. Please email professional.development@literacytrust.org.uk if you would like to be sent an additional copy.

Payments

Can we pay after the event has taken place?

All invoices must be paid for within 28 days of placing the booking. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.

Changes to bookings

Can a colleague attend instead if I can’t make it?

We are happy for a colleague from the same organisation to attend in your place. Please let us know of any changes as soon as possible.

Can I attend a different conference in place of the one I booked on?

We are happy to exchange your place up to six weeks before the original event takes place, but your booking may be subject to an admin charge. We are unable to change your booking if the event is to take place in the next six weeks.

Cancellations/refunds

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations can be made up until six weeks before the event takes place but may be subject to a cancellation charge. Please see our terms and conditions for more details.

Venues

Is there parking/disabled facilities/an induction loop at the venue?

For more information about the venue please look at the event listing or visit the venue’s website. If you have any special requirements please let us know.

Dietary requirements

Can you cater to my dietary requirements?

Where possible we try to cater to individuals’ dietary requirements, but unfortunately this is not always feasible. For more information please see our terms and conditions. If we are unable to meet your request we will notify you in advance of the event.

Can I get electronic copies of the handouts/delegate pack?

For some of our conferences these are available to purchase a couple of weeks after the event has taken place. Please see our resources section for more information.

Can I take an extra delegate pack for my colleague?

If there are spare packs we are happy for delegates to take an extra pack for colleagues. Please ask the National Literacy Trust staff on the day.
