This year Don Valley School and Performing Arts College in Doncaster are the deserved winners of the Reading Connects School of the Year competition 2009/10. School Librarian, Lyn Hopson, explains how the promotion of reading for pleasure has achieved a higher priority than ever before and how this has led to greater student and staff involvement in developing a successful reading culture.
