Richard Montgomerie
Richard's career began with Oxford University in 1991, and debuted for Northants in the same season. After graduating in 1994, he made the opening batsman's position his own at the County, and made the decision to move south to Sussex for the 1999 season. His career highlight to date was sharing an unbeaten opening partnership of 372 with Murray Goodwin against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge in 2001. Richard loves any sport, watching television, reading and 'occassionally testing my brain'.
