The WrestleMania XXV Reading Challenge is free for schools to enter and a great way to get your pupils reading. If you are a child reading this then get your teacher to have a look at this page! Closing date: Friday 28 November 2008

Existing Reading Champions schools should now have received their entry packs via post. Download extra pupil entry cards, competition rules and entry form

WWE winners 2007Four pupils (two primary and two secondary) will win a trip to Houston, Texas to see their heroes in action at WrestleMania® XXV in the 2009 Easter holidays.

This exclusive competition is only open to Reading Champion schools, but don't worry, if you are not already a member of Reading Champions you can join today - and it's free to join! Schools who join Reading Champions after mid-September will not receive hard copy entry packs but will be able to download the entry form and rules.

To enter students have to read five books, magazines, websites, newspapers or comics of their own choice and write 100 words explaining how they would persuade a WWE Superstar to read their favourite. Schools must return the teacher's form and the pupil entry cards. The closing date for this competition is Friday 28 November 2008. Entries must be sent to: WWE Wrestlemania 25 Reading Challenge, National Literacy Trust, 68 South Lambeth Road, London SW8 1RL. Please refer to the competition rules before running the competition in your school.

Schools of winning pupils will be notified on Monday 8 December 2008 and sent the parental/guardian permission form electronically. Schools will be asked to pass this form to the winning pupil’s parents. It is the parents’/guardians’ responsibility to return the prize permissions form by Friday 19 December 2008 to be eligible to claim the prize.

All Reading Champions certificates and the WWE ® gift will be distributed in January 2009.

WWE Superstar John Cena said: "With so many excellent entries, choosing the winners of the WrestleMania 24 Reading Challenge has been the real challenge.
