The films show how the winning primary and secondary Reading Champions schools for 2006 have managed to engage and involve the men and boys in their school community in creating a reading culture. If you have joined Reading Champions, or are thinking of joining Reading Champions, you might like to show this film to the staff in your school to get them on board. Visit page.

The leaflets
You can order multiple copies of these leaflets, which explain the benefits of Reading Champions for a variety of settings, by emailing readingchampions@literacytrust.org.uk. Please put either 'NRC order - school leaflet' or 'NRC order - generic leaflet' in the subject line and how many copies you require and your postal address.
The toolkit
The toolkit was written for schools but many of the ideas it offers can be used just as successfully in other settings. If you are not a school you can download a copy of the toolkit below. Each school receives a toolkit on joining School Reading Champions. All schools that joined Reading Champions before December 2006 were automatically sent a copy.

Reading Champions downloadable materials (PDFs)

Exciting resources are available to help advertise your Reading Champions project and reward new Reading Champions. These bookmarks, bookplates and stickers look great when used with our posters to create striking displays of reading material for boys. Simply follow the instructions here to make use of these great designs. If you have difficulties printing our resources we suggest downloading the PDFs to a CD disc and taking it along to a local printer who should be able to repoduce professional copies of the posters and other materials.

Reading Champions logos

Below are the logos for Reading Champions schools. They have been resized to fit them on the screen, but will be much bigger when you have saved them. To save a logo to a file, right click with your mouse on the image and select Save Picture As.
