My Librarian`s contract is for two hours only per week, but hey we cover a lot of work in that time. I am very awre this is a life line to many pupils in a school that has seen literacy levels judged as inadequate.
Budget cuts restrict my contract but I look on the positive side - all pupils get to access the library ten times in the year.- It`s not enough to re address the balance but it`s better than no access to reading and search skills.
