Writing project is turning point for football fan

Matt is a reformed offender from Walsall who took part in a National Literacy Trust project through his local football club. Matt has since completed an access course and is now in his second year at Worcester University, studying History.

Being involved in the project was one of the great turning points in my life. I didn’t realise, until recently, just how important education is and what good things it can lead to.
