RIF annual review
2007-08 This year, RIF asked project
coordinators to answer a wider range of questions about the delivery
and impact of their RIF project in 2007-08. Feedback received
to date shows some impressive results, particularly in children with
a lower ability or interest in reading. For example, 71
percent of project coordinators found that taking part in the
RIF project had resulted in a 'moderate to significantly' improved
attitude to reading in children with lower ability or interest, 71
percent noticed an improvement in these children's ability to
choose books that interested them, and 74 percent reported a
'moderate to significant' improvement in the children's comfort
when reading or looking at books. A full summary will be available
shortly. |

code, as a selection of children's books will be sent to the
featured project as a prize.
If you need inspiration for your
first distribution, why not link it to a larger literacy
