RIF day at QPR

Centre half and England Under 21s player Clarke Carlisle, a Reading Champion, read from his favourite Roald Dahl stories for 300 six and nine year old children on March 13th 2002. Separately from the RIF project at the QPR study support centre, every child in Years 1 and 4 in the London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea were part of a RIF Project in 2002. As part of their second RIF book distribution the library service put this event on actually in the stands of Loftus Road! A big well done to the Kensington & Chelsea Schools Library Service who organised everything, and many thanks to Andy Evans at the club who made it all possible.
