Promoting literacy through the power of sport

  • RTG programmes

What are Reading The Game's main aims for the future?

  • to expand our work with football into working with other sports
  • to become the recognised national link between literacy and sport
  • to become the first port of call for any sports organisation or educational establishment that wants to use sport as a motivator for literacy activities
  • to expand our work to address all aspects of literacy, delivering projects, developing resources and leading campaign activity based on the key areas of literacy: reading, writing and speaking and listening.
  • to continue to evaluate all RTG activities and to improve and adapt our work from the feedback received.
