Literacy changes lives

Promoting literacy in partnership with professional football Football Foundation Logo

We are delighted to announce that the UK's largest sports charity, the Football Foundation, has agreed to fund Reading The Game (RTG) for a further three years from January 2008. This money will allow us to continue and grow our existing RTG projects, as well as develop into new areas, such as sports other than football.

The Football Foundation has supported RTG since 2002, helping us strengthen the role of football as a key motivational force in raising literacy standards for both children and adults.

Since then the initiative has been going from strength to strength. We have been delighted with the partnership, encouragement and financial support of the Football Foundation over the past six years, which has helped us to develop football-based projects that reach and motivate so many people.
